Welcome to the Lakes HAP website |
|
Welcome to the official website of the Lakes HAP Joint Steering Group. Our role is to co-ordinate implementation of two of the habitat action plans (HAPs) for freshwaters in the UK - mesotrophic lakes and eutrophic standing waters. SEPA and the Environment Agency, as lead partners for the plans, chair the group on an alternating basis. This website was established to disseminate information about the lake habitat action plans, and the conservation and restoration of lakes and lochs in the UK.
